He recognized that if Bhanubhakta’s works were not published, they could be lost forever.

By publishing them, Motiram not only safeguarded the writings but also introduced Bhanubhakta to the broader Nepali audience, earning him the title of the one who “created” Bhanubhakta. place either:


  • Bhanubhakta was from Tanahun, later living in Chundi Ramgha and Kathmandu.
  • Motiram was born in Kathmandu but spent much of his youth in Varanasi (Banaras) for studies.
